XenData software manages data tape libraries, tape drives and RAID on Windows server platforms to create high performance digital archives that scale from terabytes to petabytes. XenData software presents the entire archive as a standard file system. It supports a wide range of data tape types including the industry standard LTO formats. The archived files are written to tape using the standard POSIX tar format which means that  archived data may be restored using a wide range of Linux and UNIX operating systems as well as XenData software.
