Support Notes
- VCare Premium Support is no longer required for EdgeCaster EZ, but highly recommended, as live workflows are time-sensitive.
- VCare Premium Support must be purchased at the same time as EdgeCaster EZ for the advanced replacement feature to be activated.
- If VCare Premium Support is not purchased at the same time as EdgeCaster EZ, the device will come with a standard warranty, which includes a 1 year hardware warranty (2 years in Europe), and online support only.
- If a customer does not purchase VCare Premium Support at the same time as EdgeCaster EZ, and requires support, there are two options:
- Pay a one time fee - a minimum fee of one hour professional services (then current rate) - per instance.
- Sign up for VCare Premium Support backdated and payable from date of initial purchase (waives advanced replacement).
- Annual payments due on the first day of each billing year
